Australian authorities were fully aware that inviting Israel's president for a visit was going to ignite unrest and furious opposition. They invited him anyway, and sent in the police to assault the protesters.

Surprise, surprise. This has to STOP. There should be a three-year restraint clause for all senior govt/military personnel to prevent this form of corruption. Because that’s effectively what it is - corruption. Favouring contractors in exchange for a job.

Herzog is a fucking politician.

He’s not a Jewish religious leader.

He’s a goddamn Israeli Zionist POLITICIAN who supports the genocide of Palestinians.

Screw you @albomp.bsky.social for defending his visit.

You truly fucked up here by supporting a Zionist over Aussie values & social cohesion

Why should we welcome a foreign President when their country is doing this?

Four Corners on Monday night Minns is forced to admit the NSW Police rejected a request by the Jewish community for extra security at the Hanukkah celebration - clearly exposing NSW govt negligence.

Seems then he fires up the police same night distract from his culpability.

Same. Minns must surely be cooked by going out of his way to endorse those cops beating up a harmless middle aged man who had his hands up.

I can believe Albo on this either.

Dear @albomp.bsky.social,
According to your own website, King Charles is Australia’s (and therefore Australian’s) Head of State.

I would have thought you should know that as Prime Minister 🤔

Yesterday Isaac Herzog tried to gaslight Australians, saying anyone arguing against his visit is also against Israel’s right to exist. He also openly rallied for support for Israel’s illegal invasion of Gaza.
He’s not here to mourn, this is a calculated political move. #auspol

If the NSW government has any interest in maintaining faith with its own public, it will ask the DPP to investigate police actions on Monday night without NSW Police involvement, with a view to prosecuting the cops who committed assaults. Or it can carry on blaming the victims; Minns' choice.
