While I am all I need favor abolishing ICE. I do think we have to keep some recent history in mind. When the US occupied Iraq, one of the things they did was fire all the cops and military. That lead to many of them becoming the backbone of anti US resistance.

According to the data I can access on the company computer, this tax kiosk I'm working averages one return a day during tax season. That feels like a small number over the 100+ days the kiosk is open during tax season. I'm also an introvert & pushing myself to interact w/ the public is stressful.

I find I am not too worried about whether George RR Martin finishes The Winds of Winter or not. If it happens, that's great and I'll buy it on release day. If not, we'll we do have the series and it's conclusion may not be as satisfying as some would want, but it may be the only complete version.

I'm imagining Boston tow truck drivers dumping their vehicles into the harbor.
ICE is failing miserably in their attempts to pacify a mid-sized city of polite Midwesterners. And they're going to try the same thing in a city of 8.5 million *New Yorkers*?

I'm imagining Boston tow truck drivers dumping their vehicles into the harbor.
The Walmart I'm working out of has started doing drone deliveries. I'm seeing guys taking out the little packages out to the launch pad all day.
They stick stuff into a happy meal sized box to attach it to the drone.
It also costs $20 for the service.

The first client was kind of a bust. She had started her return at another office location. the way the company works, its a separate network & I couldn't modify her return without starting over. She just wanted to upload her W2, it wasn't worth the trouble. She's calling the office to get it done.
