"I don't regard Putin as a bad guy."

- U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff

This should send shivers down the spine of Republican and Democratic members of Congress alike.

It's a 'perspective' not capable of negotiating for true U.S. interests.

There has never been a single time, as president or candidate, that Trump has singled out Putin for condemnation for his brutal invasion of Ukraine that murders civilians daily. It is always “both sides” that are to blame according to Trump, Vance and Witkoff. He masquerades as a

Nobody, I repeat…nobody should be surprised by this. Steve Witkoff works for Donald Trump. Donald Trump works for Vladimir Putin. So of course Witkoff works for Putin as well. It’s despicable, it’s traitorous, but it sure the hell isn’t surprising.

We have seen the Trump playbook before. In 2020 it was to pressure election officials to overturn the result of a free and fair election. Now it is to intimidate state legislatures to illegal redistrict. We defeated him the and we will do so again.

The Trump administration’s war on tourism in red states continues
National parks have SO MANY people from other countries (since they get real vacations!)

And they spend a lot of money on hotels, food, souvenirs, etc.

This is unbelievably dumb, it will destroy entire tourist towns

You have to ask, why was Witkoff chosen for this critically important role of special envoy to Putin? He had no diplomatic or foreign policy experience. No education on those subjects. So of all people, why him? I think what we all surmised is clear - Putin wanted Witkoff.

New pricing tiers at national parks based on who you are and where you come from is EXTREMELY Nazi stuff
The Trump administration is raising national parks' prices and adding fees for international tourists from next year in an "America-first" initiative, the Interior Department announced.
Trump admin hikes national parks prices by up to $170 for international tourists
The Interior Department said the "America-first" policy will see "resident-only patriotic fee-free days" on some holidays.

It’s not unimaginable. This is the same peace deal the kremlin peddled to Trump in 2016 via Kilimnik. And don’t forget Jared’s multiple Middle East “peace deals” that never included Palestine. There’s been like three of those.
Himes: "This shows Steve Witkoff almost literally sitting side with the Russians on this ... it's unimaginable to consider the fact that you would propose a peace deal that the Ukrainians didn't even know about."

There is a reason why Witkoff did not want any officials with the State Dept or anyone else present during his many meetings w/Putin - he didn’t want witnesses to his treasonous behavior. Highly unusual, but makes perfect sense when you consider that he only cared about Russia.
