Dear Santa:

All I want for Christmas is for the Oxford comma to be cherished, loved, and respected.

Overrated: Italian (or what passes for it on Canada, love it, but not to the level that others seem to)

Underrated: Ethiopian. I'd eat that every day.

Under rated (Canada specifically): Mexican. Taco Time doesn't count.
Time to start a bluesky Christmas fight: Most over-rated and under-rated cuisine?

For me:
Over-rated: French
Under-rated (globally): Mexican
Under-rated (US specifically): Indonesian

The singularity that changes society the most dramatically is when we can free up the cognitive capacity of people. 25% of Canadians are facing food insecurity. When you spend your cognitive budget worrying about feeding your family, you're not changing the world.

One brand of cold and sinus medicine, the blue pills are "nighttime" and have the drowsy bits that make me stop coughing. A different brand, the blue ones are daytime, and the white ones are nighttime.

Bad UX.

Also I've been sick for a week now, over it.

It's supposed to be the time of chocolate and potatoes. Instead of herbal tea and cold medicine. 'tis the season to acquire the plague.

15 year old me: "it will be epic once they make an XMen movie!"

Now: "there are so many X-Men movies I don't know which ones I've watched already"

I dunno man the concept of actually owning something you pay for must be like a drug if you're under 30

Built a 2 button macro keyboard. One of the buttons cycles through my tailnets with the `tailscale switch` command. The other one is for future use, the ALT was the only other keycap I had handy.

There's so much wrong with this post. Who decides if a cable is obsolete? I just had to BUY a 75 ohm coax recently. I'm sure I had some around, just couldn't find them. Probably under some books or pottery, maybe being used to hang plants; but quit making generalizations!
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

Puttering, trying new things. Spent a half hour trying to figure out what I had done wrong just to find out was a bad USB cable.

Who ships "charging only" USBC cords? :shakes fist:

But I got to the "hello world" stage of fiddling with esp32 pretty quickly
