Here is another org that can desperately use your help. If a non-citizen get kidnapped by ICE here, regardless of status, they are flying them out of the state as soon as the can. Legal representation can be the difference between seeing your family again, or, given conditions in TX, life and death.
I spoke to a friend on the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota board. They need financial donations to keep up with the heightened demand for their services: www.ilcm.org

ILCM is a nonprofit that provides free immigration legal representation to low-income immigrants and refugees in MN & ND

Jason is a city councilperson in Minneapolis. Help this community out.
The Powderhorn Park neighborhood has been the biggest target of immigration enforcement in Minnesota. It’s home to a large immigrant community who is now struggling to pay rent. Kidnappings are on the rise because people cannot stay home. Please help us out. Link is in my bio.

PhD here. Your product is trash. I don’t use it, won’t use it, forbid my students from using it (with copious evidence-based rationales provided), and use whatever other influence I have to counteract its dehumanizing effects.

I am glad to see more and more people talking about this, even in newspapers here in Sweden the talk about finding alternatives to US tech have started.

You dont really realise how much we rely on it until now, when they went from being an ally to an enemy.

I just hope we have time to change
When countries get hooked on US tech, their governments are constrained in reining in tech’s harms while most of the economic benefits accrue to the United States.

It’s time to break out of that trap — but that means challenging the Silicon Valley model, not creating our own digital colonizers.
Escaping the trap of US tech dependence
Canada needs real digital sovereignty, not our own digital colonizers

They’re just over halfway to their current goal—let’s get them all the way, shall we?
