Trump tariffs to reduce US deficits by $1 trillion less than previous estimate, CBO says
President Donald Trump's tariff increases on imports from foreign countries will reduce U.S. deficits by $3 trillion if they are maintained through 2035, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office estimated on Thursday, instead of the $4 trillion the agency projected in August.

Much more important than individual issue stances is overall aura of authenticity - messaging that comes from deeply held values and stances. Universal healthcare didn’t always poll well but when Bernie Sanders campaigned hard for it from a conviction, it saw much more popularity. Learn from this.
really key point. polls, particularly issue polls, are a WILDLY unrealistic way to measure how people actually interact with political messaging these days

Landon Thomas Jr of the New York Times got told by Jeffrey Epstein that Trump walked into a glass door bc he was so busy staring at girls in Epstein's house and didn't print it. wild that the Times didn't consider that newsworthy.

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

Not really a shocker, but Trump is very clearly and evidently guilty and it sounds like whatever’s in the Epstein files must be really really bad for him. Release them.

Just a friendly reminder, nobody’s actually leaving for Florida after Mamdani won. Empty threats. But hey, if they do, NYC will likely become more affordable due to being less overcrowded!

8 Dems thought reopening the govt would save SNAP recipients. In reality Trump’s gonna try to destroy it either way. Dems got duped so hard by the guy who has constantly duped people for decades
President Trump criticized the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) during a Fox News interview tonight, saying people "get it automatically now so the number is many times what it should be, it's disgraceful."
Trump says "we can reform" SNAP
"SNAP is supposed to be if you are down and out," Trump said on Fox News this evening.
