This is not accurate. The ICE funding is ALREADY paid out from the Big Ugly Bill that NO DEMOCRATS VOTED FOR through 2029–ICE gets 183 *million* per month already regardless of any new bills currently in Congress & this was entirely on the Republicans.

Miller is a loathsome figure who I imagine has rock-bottom likability numbers. Democrats should try to raise his public salience as often as possible.

This is apt. It’s not just that strategic, city-wide invasions would make fair elections in those cities impossible. Between roving patrols and Kavanaugh stops, a much smaller DHS presence would also be a nightmare for immigrant-citizen turnout.

The 2029 Pretti Good Act will establish a commission to identify all agents, create a detailed accounting of all acts, and hold criminally liable as necessary. Agents who voluntarily and truthfully disclose will be granted some leniency, provided their crimes did not include murder or torture.
When I say this agency [ICE and CBP] CAN’T be reformed this is why.
