The people around Donald Trump are taking advantage of his diminished capacity to break the law.

Whatever they do now, we won’t forget — and we will hold them accountable.

An ICE agent, who is being arrested for drunk driving and nearly killing his little kids & others, tries to stop the arrest by racially profiling the officers arresting him. Amazing to watch the courtesy given to him as he is belligerent and uncooperative

Pritzker: "It's unconscionable. This has never happened before. They're calling out troops onto the streets of a state that doesn't want them and they're not even telling us where they're gonna go, what they're gonna do. This hasn't happened I don't think since the Civil War."

Um, ICE just coldly shot an unarmed PRIEST in the head w a pepper ball when he (and everyone around him) clearly posed no threat.

For the crime of … complaining about government policy.

Core 1A speech.

With cameras rolling, they’re sniping priests for sport.
Here’s video of the incident

This little twerp, who’s been there a few months, axed two of the lions of WaPo??

Fisher is an investigative champion and had been at The Post for 39 years. Hoffman had been there for 42, and he won a Pulitzer LAST YEAR.
Last week, new WaPo opinion editor Adam O'Neal quietly carried out another purge of staffers, cutting editors and major names like Marc Fisher and David Hoffman, among others.

Meanwhile, he welcomed three conservatives to the section.

Adam O’Neal says he’s bringing “intellectual diversity” to The Washington Post’s opinion pages—but the moves he’s making behind the scenes tell a different story.

I’m still so high on life after seeing Chappell Roan live this weekend. The whole event was pure joy. I’m so glad she did this in KC. The whole city was poppin’ out in pink.
I recently went to British Columbia and only saw US liquor in stock in one hotel bar and surely that's because they didn't want to just dump it. Other than that we saw zero American wines or liquor for sale anywhere.
Turns out BC is making some great wines, just like Washington and Oregon.

Goddam @nytimes.com headline writers! It's not "politics" that threatens these projects. It's the naked abuse of the power of the purse by a small-minded, vindictive president. Stop the sanewashing while you still have a newspaper to publish in!

SCOOP — Pennsylvania prosecutors were alerted to possible voting irregularities by one of MAGA's leading voices against voter fraud. A long paper trail shows Jack Posobiec has been living in Maryland but voting using his parents' PA address for years.

Raskin: "It's not lost on anyone that shutting the government down allows them not swear in our new colleague, Ms Grijalva from Arizona, who would be the 218th signature to discharge the Epstein files and to put a vote on that on the House floor."

I was sent this by a Georgian this morning. 2025 premiums vs 2026 premiums for someone making $65k a year.

Republicans in Washington did this.

This is what I'm fighting to stop. This is what’s at stake in this shutdown fight.

Out of fucking control and if I were an elected Dem or running for office I’d be in front of every camera I could find telling America your prescriptions just got twice as expensive, your health insurance premiums are about to skyrocket from ACA subsidy cancellation, and oh the gov shuts down Wed.

Let’s be clear: what Trump is calling "unserious and ridiculous" is our proposal to prevent a 75% HIKE in health care premiums for millions and stop him from illegally withholding funds for national priorities.

He would rather shut down the government. A Mad King.
NEW: Trump canceled a meeting with Schumer and Jeffries “after reviewing the details of the unserious and ridiculous demands” he claims they made.
