Hello, new followers! I'm a freelance comic book editor, currently working on MONSTRESS from Image. Previous projects include TWO GRAVES and MOTOR CRUSH, also from Image, and about a decade ago I was an assistant editor on a whole bunch of X-Men books. I'm always on the lookout for new projects!

Becky's dad was great, and these conversations also make me miss my dad desperately. He worked a manual labor job, often with overtime, but he also did all the laundry, vacuuming, dishes (until my brother and I took over), and bathroom cleaning. And all home maintenance. And played with his kids!
There's a good thread going around about men not seeing the logistics work that women do, which is definitely a real and true thing that happens way too fucking much, but it also makes me so grateful for my dad and I miss him so much.

I love the Hughes brothers, but otherwise Men's Hockey Team USA is just...so incredibly unlikeable. And it's not like I'm feeling especially patriotic these days. I'm not sure I'll be rooting for them.

I'm going into NYC for lunch and a museum with friends, and so far I've lost (but then found!) an earring and discovered the train I wanted to take is cancelled (but the next is in a half hour). Mixed results.
