Not a replacement that WotC made for the slot, per se, more like, would Mind Stone or similar be as ubiquitous as Sol Ring? I think there would be a few options that would take up the slot. If they made Arcane Signet or similar in 2011, yeah, that’d be in ~90% of decks.

The time to ban Sol Ring in Commander would have been 2011 before the first precons came out. That ring’s not coming off. If it was banned at that time, what do you think the Commander format would be like now? Would there be a replacement “auto-include” in every deck from then to now?

Slightly less cozy, but still not as high fantasy as other works, Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson flips the trope of damsel in distress with the tea cup collecting Tress risking everything to find out what happened to her crush, Charlie, son of the Duke of their small island home.

First is the prequel, Bookshops and Bonedust, and the upcoming sequel, Brigands and Breadknives. Prequel is about the MC of L&L, while Brigands will follow a character from Bookshops.

Nekusar got out Mindcrank early. Valgavoth played a Syr Konrad. I started to go off with Eruth out. I had Firebrand Archer out, so kept pining them, which made Mindcrank trigger, which made Konrad trigger, which made Mindcrank trigger, etc. It was a wild turn.

Had a chance to go out to play commander at the store for the first time in a while. The first game was wild. I was playing Eruth against Ultima, Nekusar, and a mostly stock Valgavoth precon.
