Alex Jones has asked the Supreme Court to immediately put his almost $1.5 billion defamation judgment on hold, citing the imminent threat of InfoWars being handed over to The Onion.

If there isn't a stay, "InfoWars will have been acquired by its ideological nemesis and destroyed," the filing says.

Yep. Was just thinking of the whole academic complex around polarization, and how that field of research has been legitimized by granting agencies, or seen as a milquetoast liberal alternative to studying, say, democratic failure and increasing right-wing radicalization

As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs — and their owners — becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in a nationally representative sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.
