Allegedly, both a Republican and a Democrat House member are drawing up Articles of Impeachment for Pam Bondi. I don't know how many times I said this is what needs to happen but I was afraid a Republican wouldn't be on board. This is excellent news if true.

Most states have Romeo and Juliet laws to protect something like a 19 y/o boy having sex with his 17 y/o girlfriend but none of that applies to Trump, Mar-a-Lago, or Epstein's island. It's pure and simple and cannot be anything other than legally rape.

Does anyone have an educated guess for what is more likely: we allowing fishing to die as an industry, or start subsidizing fishermen like we do farmers?
As someone who lives in Maine, I do not want to lose our fishing fleets but it's a closer and closer reality.

Decades ago ICE started climbing on our short and long distance buses demanding to see everyone's ID and I've been hating them ever since so I feel the same, you will never convince me that ICE aren't thugs, unaware of Civil Rights or are happy to stomp all over them and do whatever they want.

Maine is the 1st state (I believe) to pass a law limiting all LE in Maine's assistance to ICE with immigration enforcement duties (essentially the raids and stuff).

Bsky actually responded to me complaining about filling my feed with things I don't want (right now it's :artists. So, I went into my feeds, saw this and unpinned. I didn't realize that and I also think it's weird that if I follow that feed, I will never see anything else again like the NYT even.

I don't know why they do this, 99% of the posts I'm seeing are art and mostly shitty art to begin with. I have spent an hour and a half trying to get around it so Bluesky is completely useless when they do this and it's incredibly stupid. I can't imagine that EVERYONE who is using Bluesky wants this
