I missed #FridaySmooch last week due to the holidays, but @sadirastone.bsky.social has given us ICY this week. I switched over to a snippet from book 2 since it takes place around Yule/Winter Solstice.

I DID IT!! I wrote every day this month. It wasn't the highest output I've ever had in November, but in 30 days I wrote over 20,000 words and have a great start to the next book in my series. #booksky #authorsofbluesky

My newest creation is this pair of semi-preternatural, fabric art earrings featuring red flowers. I designed, hand-sewed, and hand-embroidered them. The metal is stainless steel and hypoallergenic.

Here's a lovely photo of my fabric art earrings. They're green circles with embroidered flowers, little red stars, and short red and yellow lines. There are also white snowflake sort of patterns. They look like single arms of a snowflake. The earrings are held together with a red blanket stitch. The earrings are a bit puffy. There's a swirly light purple marble paper in the background. Here's another lovely pic of the earrings where you can see a view of them from the side. We can see here that they're puffy earrings. Here's a lovely pic of the earrings where we can see how large they are at scale. They're resting beside a quarter as well as a party dog trading card. The dog is wearing a party hat and sunglasses.

📚💙 I stopped doing *that* Nov writing challenge a few years ago, but I was stuck getting going on the new book. So I made up my own: to write something—even just a sentence—every day.

Yesterday was the halfway point, and I've written 9500 words in those 15 days!!! I'm back, baby!!!!

I spent a gorgeous fall weekend at the Port Gamble Ghost Conference. And I am positively haunted with inspiration and ideas for stories and characters. 100% recommend if you're in the PacNW.
