Is this Mike Johnson's Louisiana? Republicans!
One woman said her father called in June to say he was going to be paroled after serving 20 years for car theft.

Then in September, she got another call: He was instead being transferred to await deportation.

It was the last time she heard from him.

Louisiana Made It Nearly Impossible to Get Parole. Now It’s Releasing Prisoners to Deport Them.
Gov. Jeff Landry eliminated parole for prisoners arrested after Aug. 1, 2024, and tightened eligibility rules for those already in prison. Then he set all of that aside for one group: undocumented imm...

He's already tasted blood, now he wants a massacre
This could give Trump his opening to go for the Insurrection Act and Martial Law.

He's desperate and his falling in the polls and can't escape the economy or the Epstein Scandal.

We warned that a "manufactured war" on our streets would put troops at risk. Today, two WV Guardsmen were shot in DC.

Escalating domestic militarization doesn't make us safer; it puts citizen soldiers in the crosshairs.

Stop the stunts. Bring them home.

When he's awake, he's spewing hateful, racist garbage
The bloodshed today in DC wouldn’t have happened without the illegal deployment of the National Guard and President Amber Alert’s ceaseless advocacy for political violence. Fuck Trump, and fuck Hegseth.

It's healthier and cheaper to make your own soup, without salt, sugar, preservatives and other chemicals. Not to mention the toxins leaching out of the can. Stay away from Campbell's!

Hegseth plans to cut all military ties with Scouting America, formerly known as the Boy Scouts, on the grounds that they are attacking “boy-friendly spaces,” being too “genderless,” pushing “gender confusion,” and adopting DEI. trib.al/k4lQZTz

SCOOP—In August, nearly 200 current/former FEMA staffers published the Katrina Declaration, a whistleblower letter detailing all the dangers posed by current leadership.

All current employees were put on indefinite leave, and now I've learned one has been fired in violation of federal protections:

It appears to be a major violation of federal whistleblower protections and constitutional rights.

Good for defense contractors, investors and members of Congress. Not good for taxpayers.
Scoop: Provisions of the NDAA that would ensure military members’ right to repair their own equipment are set to be removed from the funding act, replaced by language that will require the military to pay subscription fees to defense contractors via “data-as-a-service.”
