@tomandlorenzo.bsky.social ok i just listened and i want to say this in defense of Hedda: i looked at the time period as more of an abstraction, like watching hamlet set in the White House. Hedda Gabler ia that level of a text so i dont think it’s fair to poke at the film from that angle.

my most unpopular opinion is that it's a sign of defective moral character if you point blank refuse to answer phone calls from unknown numbers. it's not that hard to hang up on spam/scammers, and you are probably missing important calls!
