Took a walk around Covent Garden last night and it was magnificent! The Christmas decorations were amazing and the whole place was buzzing. The tree is stunning. I hope the people responsible for organising it all, get some recognition. London at its finest.

The NHS would never refuse emergency treatment. So what is your point exactly? They won’t treat you for anything else until they know who you are. So this just makes that process simpler. We all ID to vote as well. So this actually franchises the 3m people without an approved form of ID.

I realise the audience for this would just be "me, and also maybe other foreigners" but I would love to read something on why Brits, who are happy to live in a country where their every movement outside is filmed by CCTV, hate the idea of having ID cards, something plenty of countries happily have
