I showed my dad vibe coding and sent him some links. He’s cooking.

Wait. This might work.
Hey Claude, you are a vibe coder using Claude. Write a prompt that yoi can use to give to Claude to make a very successful app. Think hard.

How are people building iOS apps without an Apple computer? Does everyone just go out and buy Apple laptops? There's got to be a better way?? #iOS

I want this next generation of software development tools to run on my own computer. Vim and Emacs helped democratize software development and made it accessible. We shouldn't allow this AI wave to take us backwards.

I really hope the open source community can keep pace.

Is it too late to point out that the Claude Code logo is a butthole?

I wonder if I'm going to have a big sad at some point over the fact that manually writing code is going to disappear from my life faster than I thought. I like writing code and I've spent almost 10 years trying to get good at it.

Everyone in the developer world is hyped over Claude Code (the hype is real btw) but I don't think we're talking nearly enough about how the future of the coding revolution is going to be owned by a handful of mega corps.

I knew a guy that swore by only ever using the fifth gear in his standard transmission. Park to 5th, no matter what.
One Sergey Levine quote from a podcast that stuck with me (paraphrased) is that even when there are better, well-defined solutions, it's often interesting to stick with your method and figure out how to make it work

Using an AI agent to write a prompt file that will be used by a different AI agent to implement code that will be reviewed by yet another AI agent.

This seems to be how code is written now?

My hot take is that there’s way too much fucking around happening too quickly. The finding out needs to happen faster, it’s not keeping up with the fucking around.

One fun little thing that the “For You” feed does right is serving up a popular post through a quote post rather than directly adding it to the feed. You get meaningful interactions with a smaller group of people while still discussing the “big thing” that’s going on 👍 bsky.app/profile/did:...

Just out of curiosity, what signs should a person look for if the US was planning to invade Canada? I’m genuinely worried it’s only a matter of time. #cndpoli

Yes. Impeachment. That’ll fix things.
The president unilaterally decided to attack a sovereign nation and kidnap its leader, and now he says he's just going to run that county himself for a while too.

Call your representatives now and demand they impeach him.

Controversial take but I agree that if you have even center left politics you should be barefoot wearing a barrel with suspenders. You should have a wallet with a single moth and nothing else in it. You should be slicing up a single bean paper thin and eating it slowly on a trash can lid
