The purpose of billionaire-promoted "A.i." is to make billionaires richer by cutting costs and making literally everything incredibly shabby, annoying, and dangerous for everyday people.
megaLOL

we have all suffered through automated phone tree hell for years, shouting "AGENT! AGENT! GDAMMIT!" in hopes of talking to a person & now the world is just begging for that experience to be extended into every realm of our lives, including interactions with physicians, teachers, etc.

We can’t prepare for tomorrow’s challenges because our politicians are basically embroiled in a fight to bring back conflicts from the 1950s (I.e., segregation, internment camps, etc.).
Leaders in economics, politics, and business can’t agree on how quickly AI will transform work in America. But no matter how long it takes, “there’s no sign—none—that our political system is equipped to deal with what’s coming,” Josh Tyrangiel reports:
How Soon Will AI Take Your Job?
Economists aren’t sure. And politicians don’t have a plan.

you know who I don’t mind in my neighborhood?

Remember when NBC had not one, but two fictional depictions of the making of SNL while also continuing to make the actual SNL?

As a white, there is a part of me that feels for my people that the best counter programming we could muster for a night of 'entertainment' was a really shitty country singer who got famous for writing some really shitty rap lyrics.

Not only that, but he couldn't even perform without lip synching.

On one hand, I’m being harassed by a Snyder Bro who followed me here from a Twitter argument he started with me three years ago.

On the other, his profile pic is a character from a Gendy Tartakovksy cartoon, which is kinda cool?

This guy just equated victims of gay bashing and homophobia in general to fans of Zack Snyder being criticized (fairly) for their toxic behavior and tendencies for online harassment.

Very weird take. But not surprising.

They are both the heroes and the victims of an epic saga of their own design.
Comparing people who are fans of superhero movies you don't like to fascist insurrectionists is not dissimilar to mocking Joel Schumacher's homosexuality, or accusing George Lucas of molesting your childhood

I don’t think blaming Harry Knowles for basically creating a horde of toxic fanboy ‘critics’ like this guy ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ was absolving him of anything?

Frankly it makes me kinda sad.
Oh hey, it's the guy who made a podcast series trying to absolve Harry Knowles while comparing people who campaigned for the Snyder Cut to January 6th rioters

My thought while watching the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Italy:

There’s many fair criticisms you can level at my country, but we would never greet the athletes of the world with something as whack as this.

As further evidence of "Everything terrible in the world right now is somehow related to Jeffrey Epstein"...
