I posted earlier we needed a site similar to the tactical voting site that helped bring down the Tories last election.

This has recommendations, and media to post online:

Nigel Farage has got almost all of his tens of millions of pounds of donations from Weapons Companies, Fossil Fuel and Tobacco.

He is most corporatist of them all.

The first step towards saving our precious BBC: remove Robbie Gibb from the board | Ed Davey
The BBC belongs to all of us, and it is under attack as never before. The government must defend it from its enemies, within and without, says Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey

Keir Starmer spoke yesterday to the UAE president "pushing all parties to cease hostilities" in Sudan.

Britain has exported over £417m worth of arms to the UAE in the past 3 years, some of which items are now showing up in Sudan's devastating war.

There was a time when I'd have cared deeply about the BBC.

But they adopted a deliberate policy of kowtowing to the right, backing away from every fight, believing compliance would protect the license fee, and the right would leave them alone.

Stand up to bullies, or get knocked down by reality.

Wanna know why my sympathy for the BBC has run out?

Let me remind you of this little charade, while Boris Johnson was PM, and the head of the BBC secretly helped Darth Bagpuss to organise a secret £800,000 slush fund from a foreign national.

I agree that the BBC should apologise to Trump for being misleading.

Right after Trump apologises for the 30,573 false or misleading claims he made during his first presidency, or for each of his current daily average of 21 new lies per.

New post just out:

Why the criminal justice system should be top of No. 10's "shit list".

No part of the public sector is more broken or brings with it greater political risk. As we saw these past two weeks.

It desperately needs a new approach.

Ok President Trump, if you sue the BBC for $1bn for spreading lies, I’ll sue you for the same amount. I reckon Planet Earth would crowdfund that. Then I’ll buy Mar A Largo, turn it into a climate change research centre, free Melania, and put a 1000% tariff on orange face paint.

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …

In 'How They Broke Britain', I do a pretty good job of detailing the depth & breadth of Tufton Street/Tory/Murdoch/Mail attempts to scupper the BBC, even as I castigate some presenters for going too easy on precisely the people who seek the Corporation's abolition. But I should have done more. 1/2
