She is right. So perhaps the Labour MPs and backbenchers who are desperately trying to overthrow the leadership should stop making this an issue and go back to doing their day jobs.

If I displayed incompetence in my job I'd get the sack. Directors of public utilities are constantly failing in their duty to serve the consumers, so just nationalise these companies and save everyone time and energy revisiting this.

A month ago the USA kidnapped the President of Venezuela and is now keeping him hostage and no one is doing or saying anything.

Sure would be nice if the situation was reversed.

Doubt there would be silence about it though.

A crypto investor just donated £9 million to the Reform Party. Right now, billionaires can pour unlimited money into our elections, effectively buying our democracy. Think that's wrong? Add your name to call for a cap on donations today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/ta...
Take Big Money Out of Our Politics

If you want to know what Reform will be like in government, look at the councils we control. At Worcestershire County Council, for example, we want to increase council tax by 10% and are begging the government for a £71m bail out, otherwise we face effective bankruptcy.

Getting really tired of "this is all a media concoction"...

Starmer has the lowest approval rating of any PM in history bar Truss. Senior ministers are openly and unsubtly positioning. His Chief of Staff, Director of Comms and Cab Sec have all resigned on the same day.

No govt curbs on profiteering.

No plan for redistribution. The poorest 20% pay higher proportion of income in tax than the richest 20%

Poor must unite, vote en block for change, challenge power of corporations/rich.

Cost to clean up PFAS "forever chemicals" problem sites is £31-121bn. Govt says where polluter known, they will be made to pay - good!

For the rest there's an £80m fund

That implies govt expects to be able to identify & charge polluter in 99.7% of cases

Seems unlikely to me!
