It's hypocritical that there's talks about pulling out of the 2026 world cup and 2028 olympics when there was no question about the worse countries that hosted recently: Qatar '22, China '22 and '08, Russia '18 and '14, then Saudi Arabia '34, among others.

One of the central messages sent by today's hideous incident in Minneapolis is that the role played by the ICE and CBP watchers is absolutely essential. They must be constantly videotaped because they relentlessly lie about their abuses.

For $100 billion a year the US could end homelessness, maybe cancel all medical debt, even have a world class high speed rail network. Instead we're using it to give high school dropouts 250 grand a year to join a gestapo LARP group.

This man was executed by ICE for standing up for his community. He was a nurse who supported Veterans. It is clear from the video that he was not violent towards agents and was just trying to help up the woman they threw to the snow.

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now
