Microsoft shoved their AI Copilot into everything in Windows 11. Which lead to an increase in Windows 10 use. So they announced they'd stop support for Windows 10, but its usage was still strong. So they started to put Copilot into Windows 10.

Windows 7 use is surging 5x now.

AI is product poison.

3 years ago I was 38% larger, sleeping in dugouts, and realizing the lifelong dream of making a movie. EEPHUS is a HUGE part of why I am able to continue to do so today. I'm so proud to be part of it and humbled so many love it.

it wasn't until i met my wife in college that i figured out how to just exist in my own skin. She truly is the best thing that ever happened to me.

As a former gifted kid in the 70's and 80's - all it did was make me simultaneously feel like an outcast and superior. It made me awkward and lazy. When i moved into regular classrooms again i thought i could skate by and became a friendless C student. No one taught me how to study or socialize.

HOT TAKE, feel free to disagree.

Asking a filmmaker to "justify your budget" indicates that the person is unaware of how costly filmmaking is and that they likely hold the many creatives involved in a given project in low regard. If you're looking out for your talent and crew, their pay will *always* be the most costly item in your budget, and rightfully so. A film doesn't happen w/o these peoples' talents and expertise - they *deserve* to be paid a *living wage*, they *deserve* to be paid *their worth*. Saying "justify your budget" is arguably the same as asking, "Why aren't you paying your team pennies or getting them to work for free?" Saying this to a project led by marginalized creators specifically adds insult to injury. Stop low-balling creators - they are *trained professionals* who should be able to make a living in their profession.
