That’s what gets me - everyone keeps trying to rationalise everything he says and does. He’s demented. That’s it. No worse than before, but now with the realisation he can do whatever with impunity. Commentators need to look at the wider manifestations of Project 2025.

Never mind that he got this from a public report about the agents called to the location AFTER the riot had started. Not knowing that you'd been President for almost four years on that date, and Biden would not be inaugurated for another two weeks, even by Trump standards, is SKETCHY AF.

I think any assumption at the time that Churchill would win in 1945 was out of resignation than desire. He wrote his legend in opposition and the surprise that he lost is more retrospective amongst later generations who regarded him as war hero. At lot of voters in ’45 had had enough of him.

Between the 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021 Census *every* ethnic group in the UK has become *less* geographically segregated and *all* groups, majority and minorities, are more likely to interact with people not like them

It’s a lie to say there’s not an integration issue - there’s Black areas, Asian areas, & white areas where people live separately

For months, Badenoch has said that she wouldn't jump the gun on leaving the ECHR, because she wanted to fully assess the implications, and within 24 hours of announcing the policy, completely on the hoof, she has also committed her party to a no-deal Brexit by default. 😂 🤡 😂 ~AA

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

The Greens requested an interview on the Laura Kuenssberg Show with Zack Polanski when he was elected leader, but were denied, with a promise to interview him during Green conference instead.

This was then scrapped citing the Manchester synagogue attack. Polanski is both Jewish and from Manchester

James is correct.

The Tories have simply copied Reform's deportation policy for *legal* permanent residents (of the wrong colour..)

(NB the numbers would not be remotely as large as James says because most of those with ILR do get citizenship).

The only difference is they’re proposing £38,700 as the threshold not £60,000. So basically they’re proposing to deport 2 million legal immigrants not 3 million (I haven’t checked the exact earnings breakdown so these are estimates). Still a really extremist far right position.
