There was always a strange line up somewhere in the ads in the music papers in the 80s. But, Discharge supporting Slade is one I don't remember spotting at the time.

I keep trying, but I'm going to have to give up. It's dreadful. Watching the new Mitchell and Webb show reminds me of a 12 year old me listening to a Derek and Clive LP. But, without the surrealism, or, indeed, the humour.

I'm sitting outside The Flower Pot Man shop in Blackpool. Tony, the owner, has just come out wearing a pair of huge comedy ears. I can't help but feel that there ought be more of this sort of thing.
