Oooh, now I recognize the color, it's syrah grapes, right?
I knit it into a coat for my wife (together with lettlopi for extra warmth/durability)

When I am asked how I began writing poems, I talk about the indifference of nature.
...
I sat on a gray stone bench ringed with the ingenue faces
of pink and white impatiens
and placed my grief
in the mouth of language.
the only thing that would grieve with me.

WHEN I AM ASKED

When I am asked how I began writing poems, I talk about the indifference of nature.

It was soon after my mother died, a brilliant June day, everything blooming.

I sat on a gray stone bench in a lovingly planted garden, but the daylilies were as deaf as the ears of drunken sleepers, and the roses curved inward. Nothing was black or broken and not a leaf fell, and the sun blared endless commercials for summer holidays.

I sat on a gray stone bench ringed with the ingenue faces of pink and white impatiens and placed my grief in the mouth of language. the only thing that would grieve with me.

Saw this earlier in the week on TikTok.

But oooft! This is one of the reasons I’ve not verified my age anywhere on socials. There’s no knowing what will happen with that info once they have it, even if they weren’t meant to retain it.

Yeah ,absolutely XD
But if you keep distracting them with sth else, they'll learn to leave your wool alone. Promise. ^^ (went through that phase last winter with two very enthusiastic fluff balls)
The color is beautiful btw <3

🤣 I had to type it into the search bar to see what that "acronym" referred to to see why it might not be ideal...

For staying so much out of it they usually protect the worst of the worst.
...thinking the rat route of Nazis escaping, Pinochet, Franco, ...
If one religious institution deserves to die, it's that one.

I was just having this conversation but about music. A lot of experiences are packaged as nostalgia for something old, but a new book (or album or film etc) can't make you feel like you're STILL 16 or 22 and know nothing of what's to come. It's not a flaw with the work. It's not a problem at all.

They say they want new things in fantasy, then authors from marginalized groups do new things, but they don't like that, they want the new thing to be like the old thing except new.

What they really want is a book to rewind time and make them young again, something no book or anything else can do.

And then
Yves (FR, 'eef) and I've met both a cis man and a cis woman named Deniz (Turkish, pronounced like Denise but with a slightly sharper s I believe)
Hebrew:
Gal, Noa

All of those come from people I've met and mostly liked, some were cis, others trans, others enby

I love the L sounds (you might be able to tell...):
Eli, Lior, Laïs (an ancient dutch word for love, pronounced lay-eesh), Leo/Lio
And then
Sasha (from Russian Alexander/Alexandra), Sanja (popular in Germany), Vanja (male in Russian, but I've seen it used for women, too)
Janne, Folke, Eike (N. Ger)

It's about time to take the ACs out of the windows, so it's time to get #knitting 🧶

If you're sick of scarves but scared of sweaters

Or if you just want a tasty one-day dopamine hit

May I suggest bike helmet ear warmers?

Makes fall/winter cycling more pleasant!

Oh, thank you!
So does that mean it's possible to add larger cylinders on an existing machine? Like swapping it for the one with 48needles?
I have been looking at the Addi kingsize model or the prym one, and they looked quite fixed.
