if you make a stink about someone using genAI and it turns out that they don't, the minimum you should do is make sure that the people who picked up the stink from you also know that it wasn't true

I also really hate this idea that actors are irreplaceable but animators are an unnecessary expense that can be replaced with AI. I don't think this is better because it used SAG actors. I think those actors should be mercilessly ridiculed in the public eye.

What might seem like a frivolous BUY MY BOOK post could be someone whose entire livelihood and family depends on the next royalty check or advance, all of which depend on the books they can move *right now*. So it's not actually frivolous. We interview for our job every year. It is never a given.

I never liked Sal's art as a kid. Thought it was too angular, not flashy enough. If I'd had the vocabulary I'd have mocked him for having "good fundamentals"

He wasn't but you had to talk to Bob that way.
He said, 'Oh, no. Let me show you something.' He took me into a little room in his house. It was his studio. I didn't even know he still had a studio.
