Honest question. Does anyone actually use the things you guys are building? Like I spent all day yesterday doing my kids’ laundry and recaulking/tiling their bathroom tub but by bedtime they had a place to take a bath and clean pajamas to wear to bed

Who could have foreseen that if you repeatedly enforce the same politics of decline while aggressively crushing anyone who would dare to suggest things could ever be better, that the electorate will not shower you with praise and thanks, but will instead go for anything, anything different.

Once again, hats off to everybody who was involved in shitehousing the right-wing faction of Labour into power so they could implement their self-evidently flawless ‘just become the Tories’ strategy in order to crush the left and inaugurate a 1000-year reign of Dead Centrism.

Wild to see wealthy Reform politician "explaining" to poor people they don't understand their own experience.

Let's make sure every single person in Gorton & Denton (and the country!) knows exactly that Reform is bankrolled by dodgy donors. Mask is off.

You actually don't need to be too data literate to grasp the 'loveless landslide'. If you understand one number bigger than another, you can see it for yourself.

And that's a crazy sign in itself. Stats are never this binary.
Just to note, my friend lived in one of labours 'key battlegrounds' at the general - which they won - but received less votes than almost every 1st or 2nd place since the 70's
That's my position too. Labour have a serious operation there and they're throwing a lot at holding it (as they should given it's either their 38th or 57th seat depending how you measure it). Greens more visible, though.

'It's really important that people understand' - agreed, you are the people that need to understand
Reform have totally let the cat out of the bag about who they are.

Zia Yusuf lecturing that poverty and peoples everyday struggles with rising bills and rent is exaggerated.

A party of the failed status quo, funded and representing big corporate interests.

Support this 100%.

FPTP is not fit for purpose in a multi party system. It makes parties internally ungovernable and distorts the will of the electorate. Keir Starmer was not elected in a landslide in 2024, the system distorted the actual will of the people.
I never really sign stuff. But this was different. It's not about trying to facilitate or block a particular party's route to power. It's about an electoral system that's unsuited to the political realities we face today and risks giving us government after government with no convincing mandate.

3 course, made with food that would be going to waste or from local allotments etc. Local musicians played and the money goes to community resilience projects.

Polanski saying he doesn’t think of Labour as “left wing” isn’t “lying” though - it’s a political attack sure but honestly not much compared to accusing him of being “soft on Putin”.

That attacks lands for a reason. And I do find it a bit silly to pretend this is why an alliance won’t happen!

This is entirely wrong from Stogia:

The government absolutely could have done something and wringing hands like this?

Isn’t standing up against transphobia.

Actually?

Labour have actively chosen to make it worse.
Angeliki Stogia (Labour). Angeliki broadly performed well, but she felt very hemmed in by her government's record. When questioned about trans rights, for instance, she stated that the Labour Party would always stand against transphobia and that they couldn't just change the supreme court decision
