Love 'getting' 'support' via Sony's website. To be clear, each screenshot immediately followed the previous one -- I didn't type or do anything else in between. (1/2)
PlayStation Support: "Thank you for chatting with us today. I appreciate your waiting time. We are currently getting a high volume of contacts, so I will do my best to help you with this fast and easy in one contact. Today we'll be working with the PlayStation ID you entered in the pre-chat form. Can you please give me your best contact phone number just for records only?" Me: [redacted.] PlayStation Support: "Can you please give me further details about the situation that you are having?" Me: "When I try to log into PS Remote Play on my Mac, I get this error: Can't connect to the server. [There is a long error code.] This started yesterday evening." PlayStation Support: "Jacob, unfortunately we do not have further troubleshooting steps to perform for this issue, for now, you do need to wait, try to delete the Sony page cache in your browser and login again, other than that we are not able to give you an accurate resolution to your matter at this time." Me: "What browser? I'm not using a browser for this. I'm using the PS Remote Play app." PlayStation Support: "What device, PC? Phone?" Me: "Mac." A screenshot of a mostly blank screen that says "Feedback" and "Thanks for using PlayStation Chat support." The login page for the PlayStation Online Assistant. At the bottom of the screen, it says, "Hey there, back so soon?, it seems Chat has not been of help to you, please try again later."
