Here are two good opportunities to help Ukraine. United24 is the initiative of the president of Ukraine and covers a host of support projects. Wild Hornets is for sending more direct messaging to the invaders. Slava Ukraini! Heroiam slava!

Wild Hornets - manufacturing FPV drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Volunteer team specializing in the production of kamikaze FPV drones. Crafting batches of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a volunteer basis

This is a fair question and one I'd like to hear the answer to
I’m always struck by how old recipe books just have a list of ingredients and then basic instructions. Like how are we supposed to know that the author first fell in love with this dish when on holiday with a now ex in Tuscany proving that every cloud has a silver lining…?

It's not bad enough that this timeline be horrific. It has to be utterly embarrassing, too

for those who think russia can't buy Europe, because Europe is so special or whatever I don't know, look at how easy it was for putin to buy USA rendering it useless at policing the world and weak in relation to russia

USA right now is weaker than russia.....

I can't believe the times we live in
December 4, 2025 at 5:31 PM
Embarrassing, isn't it?
just think about this for a second....

Ukraine has been blasting russia with everything it can striking ships, oil terminals, air bases, factories and even went as far as making an incursion into russia

while NATO is afraid to shoot down a russian drone without a person in it

Can't help but think a V-10 diesel would almost always be used along with a 50 ft + trailer 😳
Bad idea, or _extremely good_ idea? Yes, it's the V10 diesel (in the running for VW's craziest engine ever), yes, it burns oil, and yes, the check engine light is on 🙏.

Seller says, "Could be a really cool project if you have the time and money." 🫥🫥🫥 #weirdcarbs

This is my other Nicca Type 3s, which has a few issues. I picked this one up at an estate sale not for the camera, but for the ridiculous box of period accessories that came with it. Lenses, filters, spare parts, film, some of the items I didn't even know existed!

This is my beautiful Nicca Type 3s from the early 1950's. As close as I'll ever get to owning a Leica unless I find one alongside the road. Fully functional and driven with fair regularity, it's possibly my favorite

This is my Ricoh 500, which I believe to be from 1957. Looking near the bottom you can make out the large "Triggermatic" film advance lever that allows operation without lowering the camera from your eye

I've been seeing a lot of really cool vintage cameras in my feed, so thought I'd share a few of mine. This is my Yashica Electro 35 that has become a real go to over the last couple of years. Only after I found the 3D printed battery adapter, of course. It was dead prior to that

THE WEST AS IT USED TO BE NO LONGER EXISTS

A lot of people need to get real comfortable with that real fucking quick
European reaction to the new American national strategy document
The headline, the main takeaway from a European viewpoint is this:

The transatlantic relationship as we know it is over. Yes, we kinda knew this. But this is now official US White House policy. Not a sppech, not a statement. The West as it used to be no longer exists.

My Spotify playlist: I don’t have Spotify. I was under the impression that we weren’t supposed to.

Anyway, here’s the list of songs I listened to this year:

All the songs that I liked when I was in college.

I highly recommend you also listen to all the songs you liked when you were in college.
