I agree we can’t enable bad behavior, but that means stop doing ethanol subsidies or mandating the dealership model, not declaring “let God sort them out”. And it is REALLY not a good idea to be retroactively wishing we hadn’t done it instead of vaunting it now and de-Trumping the pandemic narrative

I think we needed to do all those legislative programs and legislators had a specific moral obligation to minimize damage - we cannot punish people for what they’re *going* to do, and no one knew they would anyways - but yeah we definitely needed to own it more and not let Trump pose it as a win

My favorite papers I have ever written were a series of very basic academic literature analyses on Star Trek I did in second semester freshman English - not because I did anything cool or interesting with them, but because they made me think WAY harder about Star Trek and what it was trying to do.

So far I have had two games make me do that: Baldur’s Gate III, and the last CoD game. I can tell you very easily which one I thought was worth it.

I'm back working on Primrose #TTRPG illustrations, which should be available in the near future to play.

One of my favourite thing to get from clients is a rough sketch. Even stick figures works great!

Yeah, let’s not cheer for ending the war until we have concrete evidence the war is in any way meaningfully ended. And while I think it’s clear Biden would not have ended it, I’m not willing by now to say Harris wouldn’t have been better than Trump here (and she’d obv. have beat him everywhere else)
