Bit of a long shot but is there an A R Lawson Order 04882 reading this? Your address has no house number and I've tried contacting you via email.

This message will self destruct in 4 hours.

One thing about this cartoon is that it's (clearly) a male owl owlsplaining. In reality the female tawny owl twits and the male twoos.

I can think we can let that pass seeing as we’re talking about a world in which owls can discuss the finer points of grammar.

If I can get one more order in this morning, I can put in an order for boxes. Right now I'm playing chicken, I have enough to ship what's in stock but not enough for January. Come on late folks, you're most welcome here!
UK, last call for Xmas orders is Thursday night, so I can ship them out Friday morning.

(Non-UK, your deadline has passed but I will get orders out to you as quickly as possible.)

I'm sharing this here, as I have on Facebook and Instagram, but there's no account on here to share from, and I just think this is wonderful.

A really good balance of design and implementation, and appears to achieve everything it set out to do, and it *SO* appeals to my inner 'work nerd'.

There was something of a tradition in MI6 post-war. If you did some super crazy shit in WW2 that was still classified but not THAT relevant now, then just find a friend or journalist who'll write it up as a thinly-veiled fiction story.

50s spy/war novels are a goldmine of real-world stuff.
Not that surprising once you think about it- who better to write great fiction than people who lived double lives for real? When authors were actual spies, the tension and detail hit different. #SpyHistory #Espionage #Writers #AuthorsOfTwitter #books #spythrillers

Something that's often overlooked is that Langsdorff wanted to go down with the Graf Spee as its captain.

He didn't, as at that point his crew still weren't guaranteed asylum in Buenos Aires.

He went back ashore and concluded all arrangements for that. Only after THAT was he at peace with dying.
Langsdorff shot himself a few days later lying on the Imperial Naval Ensign as he did so - and not the Nazi flag.

In many ways he was a throwback to a more honourable era of war, and that honour was duly returned by the British Merchant Officers who attended his funeral to pay their respects.

The more I look at that photo, the more convinced I am that Marco Rubio told the lamp they should have an open relationship, because he wanted to bang his secretary at the Xmas party.

Except the secretary wasn't up for it, and now the lamp just introduced him to its three new boyfriends.

Marco tried to look away, but her inner light kept bringing him back. It was what had first drawn him to her.

Now it has become a curse. He watched as the three men painted her like a builder's radio.
Wow. AO3 has no Marco Rubio cucked by lamp fics... yet.
