Yours for the Season: A Spicy Sapphic Christmas Romance (Puck Struck #2)
Making the yuletide gayJT Cox never quite fit into Hart's Landing. Playing on the boys' hockey team and coming out young didn't help. Now, thanks to an Olympic gold medal, JT's name is on a sign greeting visitors to her hometown. Her family of artists and creatives still treat her as an odd duck, but elsewhere there's a warm welcome. Especially from her best friend's older sister, newly divorced Ali Porter.Single for the first time since high school, Ali is ready to take the reins of her own life. She's never had the chance to date another woman, and JT is an irresistible force of nature. When they team up for the town's holiday contest, cocoa tasting and gingerbread decorating give way to snow-melting chemistry. If teenage JT thought Ali was the prettiest girl on the planet, adult JT is completely smitten. But JT can't see herself living in Hart's Landing again and Ali can't imagine leaving her job and her newly purchased home. And with Ali's mom trying to plot a reconciliation with her ex, this holiday season might be bittersweet...or the start of something magical.Puck StruckBook 1: Wake Up, Nat & DarcyBook 2: Yours for the Season

Puck is such a chaotic little demon dog but every morning when I get home from my run and let the dogs out of their crates, no one has ever been happier to see me than that dog.

It almost makes up for all the mischief and shenanigans the rest of the day.

Bonus of the day: helped a student with a research question and they responded that they saw my book on the shelves at @lovestruckbooks.bsky.social! Pretty frickin great all around.

Author friends! Do you have bookplates for signing (and sending to folks etc)? Where did you get them?

Thank you so much!

If you are using ChatGPT or similar for research (specifically legal research) you are a clown and should be treated with complete and utter disdain

(this brought to you by a bumper crop of folks asking us to check if AI hallucinated cases etc).

Every time I am drafting, I "rediscover" that the best way for me to get words on the page is by using writing sprints.

Each time I am AMAZED that it's so effective.

Apparently, I will never learn this lesson and have to rediscover it for every book. I am a dingdong

Is there really not a single queer romance on the goodreads end of year thing?

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.

That’s my senator!

Don’t cave you absolute losers
“I think it’s a terrible mistake,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren says of the deal. “People want us to stand and fight for health care, and that's what I believe.” (via Igor Bobic, HuffPo) x.com/igorbobic/st...

Every new team name/brand roll out only serves to show how much the @wgoldenstate.bsky.social killed it. They set the bar and all these other new teams keep falling well short.

College students, law students, faculty members, literally everyone-- please learn to use a library catalog.

It's not difficult. It's not harder than using google. I am always surprised when people ask me how to find something that is readily findable in the catalog.

I requested a book from my library that has been "in transit" for a month. Massachusetts isn't that large of a state. What kind of side quest is this book on? I genuinely want to know

If you're a queer Texas author of adult or YA fiction & you have one of your books on hand that you'd like to sign & donate to a silent auction bundle for Equality Texas, DM me?

The event is Nov 15th so it would need to get in the mail ASAP, or in Austin area I can pick up.
