Warrantless arrests 👇👇
npr.org NPR @npr.org · 10h
The 66-page ruling Tuesday by Senior U.S. District Judge R. Brooke Jackson of Colorado is a comprehensive rejection of a tactic regularly used by ICE to meet quotas set by the Trump administration. (via @cprnews.bsky.social)
Court demands end to unjustified warrantless arrests, restricting a tool ICE frequently uses to detain immigrants
Unless reversed on appeal, it is likely to place a severe restriction on ICE’s operations in Colorado.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Comey today after his case was dismissed. He had a stark warning. He made it clear: this wasn’t vindication, it was a reminder of how close we came to losing the rule of law.
Power abused once can be abused again. We’d better take that seriously.

This man - Musk - is supposed to be one of the most impressive humans on the planet? What a fucking teen-man. This conversation I could expect from some teenage boys (some, not all), but an adult w/ all of the influence & power he has? Fucking tragic that this gazillionaire is so pathetic & idiotic.
