Happy Friday! It's a busy weekend here in Glastonbury. It is Summer solstice tomorrow so I will up on Glastonbury Tor tomorrow morning at sunrise (forecast looking great). The town will be busy for that and also as people start to arrive for the festival. 😎☀️🥳

It flowers for about 3 weeks from late May to early June. At over 140 years old & 55 meters long, it's believed to be the oldest & longest flowering arch in the UK. 💛

On 10 June 1945 a SS unit encircled the village & within hours they had murdered 642 men, women & children. The site was left in exactly the same state and has a display of watches which had stopped at the time of the attack.
