What Moves the Dead by T Kingfisher was good! It's a retelling of Fall of the House of Usher. Jeff Vandermeer's Southern Reach books are great too (those are more sci fi + psychological + cosmic horror)

The music is definitely very Pikmin and at 1:40 you can see what could easily be a red Pikmin blurry in the background so I think that's exactly what this is

Was supposed to get a package today and instead arrived home to a 'sorry we missed you' notice. My wife was home all day and the package didn't have a signature requirement sooooo uh thanks for not even attempting to deliver my package UPS 😑

And yeah, it's kinda weird! Like I won't lie I DO like some of the Ohio jokes but I also lived there so I feel like I'm allowed to poke fun at it but some of the 'jokes' are really mean spirited

I went to the art college in Columbus and I loved my time there! There are def parts of Ohio that are depressing as hell to be in (generally the old steel mill places that never recovered) but it's not really awful as a whole

In my experience 'natural talent' usually just means you've been drawing since you were a kid and were supported by people around you to keep enjoying it.

Everyone can learn to draw and I really wish more people could experience the joy of drawing like a kid with a new box of crayons again!
