Today I learned that if you add a rasher to the tin when you're roasting a chicken, it makes the most stupendous gravy.
There was also a spoonful of butter, bit of pepper, and some Herbes de Provence, and a splash of water.
Thickened at the end, result - luscious.

I don't like my choc-chip cookie recipe any more.
They're never as nice to eat as they look, or sound.
