I read an article once that described Tarantino as a movie dj rather than a movie director. It was the perfect description of his style, as far as I’m concerned.
I’ve been using the expression “second hand opinions” for decades and his rabid (and paper thin) fandom for things is a good indicator for that.

Thinking about how I paid off $150,000 in student loans by having to work 100+ hours per week with no vacations for 2 years, living only on ramen, and how that is unbelievably insane just to be debt free in any reasonable amount of time.
