Exactly. Before the recent influx, Bluesky might not have lasted as long as it did without the lgbtq+ and sw communities which took root here.

"Ararat" is one of my all-time faves. On one level, it's specifically tackling the Armenian genocide, but on another, it's tackling the subject of history itself: how we remember it, how we forget it, how we preserve it, how we bury it, & how we're traumatized by it.

Even more awful, right wing groups tried to pin it on a trans woman who doesn't even live in the area and doxxed her. The shooter is apparently already dead from a self inflicted wound.

Finally watched the start of Fringe, one of my partner’s faves. It just hit me that the setup reminds me of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” if it was for a slightly older audience and was sci fi instead of supernatural. Broyles and Dr Bishop are two sides of Gyles, Peter is part Willow part Angel, etc.
