One of my go-to lunches is Easy Mac with a pouch of either tuna or chicken. I also eat a lot of oatmeal, usually with a handful of craisins mixed in.

one of the classes for homeschool kids is "Survival Skills" and I don't think giving them more knowledge to separate themselves from society is a good strategy. (Plus they don't offer a similar class for kids in school- that's not fair.)

Lake Hiawatha Park added a second set of bike racks this summer near the playground/pool/rec center area and it was desperately needed. MLK park, as you mentioned, is particularly good example of a playground needing bike racks.

This! Playgrounds, beaches, rec centers, pools, etc. Each amenity in the park should have a set of bike racks. And because so many people are now using cargo bikes (including me) even more is needed because the big bikes take up a lot of space and allow for less bikes per rack.

We used Thompson Exteriors and so did our neighbors. They were fine. I don’t know if anyone loves their roofing company. Were quick, honest, and their main office is in my neighborhood.

A huge pet peeve I have is when government entities put on programming for homeschoolers. I already pay taxes for activities for kids during the day- school! My taxes shouldn't be going to other programs to keep kids busy during the day. Looking at you Minneapolis Parks and Rec.

Heard there will be a fire drill later today. I don't know why they do them on cold days in October and not warm days in June. Carrying my coat around as to not be caught off guard.

That would be illegal. Those folks aren't contracted as individuals, but through companies. The companies they work for have to pay them for hours worked. Those companies may not get paid, but that's not the employee's problem.

My kid is in preschool run by MPRB and it is wonderful!! Ms Jenny and her staff are amazing. It’s affordable too! But not enough daily hours to be full time care for most families, which is a shame.

In a conference room where I can hear every word of the people in the room next to me as if they were here. I think the architecture of the room is amplifying their voices. I assume they can hear everything I'm saying, so I hope they liked that weird little conversation I just had.

I'm a neighbor against this new license. To be clear, the neighbors are not against a reasonable bar in the new location. We are against that asshole getting a 7am-2am full liquor license. A different owner asking for a 10a-midnight license would be embraced by most of the neighbors.

Talking to co-worker about my hip bursitis. She also had hip bursitis that stopped within weeks of starting HRT. Which is bananapants. Perimenopause, in of itself, is bananapants- anything and everything can be perimenopause. I want off this ride.
