What infuriates me about this is that there wasn't a single consequence for Elon when he turned Twitter into a literal CSAM factory or for any Americans named in the Epstein files. None of these "protect children" people gave a single fuck about that.

the actual Republican parents who support the politicians pushing for this think the effort and money they spent parenting are wasted if their kids turn out different from them.

The increase of left-handedness is always trotted out in relation to the ROGD arguments for trans people and yeah - this is why. Everyone stops trying to make someone conform to bullshit societal standards and people will later wonder why they were bothered to begin with.
every now and then i remember, dimly, that my first grade teacher tried to force me to stop being left handed. my mom and i used to get school supplies at a left-handed store. everyone i knew seemed to comment on me being left-handed.
that all stopped when I was 10-11, no one seems to care now

SOUND ON FOR WOLF HOWLS- old footage but a favourite. This was when Sansa was still with us and she often led the charge in a pack howl. Sadly she died of cancer at the end of last year and the place feels quieter without her now.
