Ever since I was told that I -may- be autistic, that is.. I have no idea, I have no formal diagnosis and any diagnosis could take YEARS.. But still, I find myself catching things I do or say and wonder "Oh, is that an autism thing?" and I don't know :D

President Mandela said, "there can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children."
“I Have Been Here Too Long”: Read Letters from the Children Detained at ICE’s Dilley Facility
Hundreds of children are currently being held with their parents at an immigration detention center in Dilley, Texas. In letters and drawings, eight kids convey the pain of feeling trapped with no end...

It is genuinely astounding to me that I haven’t seen a single journalist push back on this quote from Zia Yusuf, to remind him that the money he’s referring to is not his, or Reform’s, but the taxpayers.

Lab leak truthers love to point out that "only" one-third to one-half of early cases were directly linked to the market but you know how many were linked to the lab?

Zero.

Plus if the virus had emerged in the summer there would have been *far* more than hundreds of cases by January.

We pride ourselves on being a democracy and yet there’s a medieval theocratic anachronism in the heart of parliament: 26 bishops with automatic seats in the House of Lords. (The only other country in the world with clerics automatically entering a government is… Iran).
Great news. MPs should also pay attention to our campaigns:

● Remove the 26 bishops

Religious office should not grant automatic voting rights in a parliamentary democracy.

● Scrap parliamentary prayers

Attending prayers should not to provide speaking advantages🧵

I'm so impressed that these Epstein cunts stayed so composed while hiding the secret that they were heavily involved with one of the biggest paedophiles on earth. I start to get dry skin when I lie to someone that I have a headache to get out of going to a party coz it's raining.

I don't know much about the man, but I do know he's anti-trans and that tells me all I need to know.

Tis a big red flag for me.
It’s practically a work of art that he thinks we’re all that stupid.

I'm not entirely sure what they're advocating for, leaving the tumour alone? Just allowing it to continue to grow and invade other cells without actually knowing what it is? How to best treat it?
Just.. Pretend it's fine?

This head in the sand view of medicine is.. Curious.

This! Labour’s leadership is being talked about as if it’s some kind of poisoned chalice.

In reality it’s a chance to take over the first term of a government with a huge majority. It’s the political opportunity of a lifetime.
Yet this is a government with three years left to run and an enormous Commons majority. For all the problems, there is an enormous opportunity there for someone with the political nous to take it and use it.
Starmer's reported condition - incredibly unpopular, shorn of authority, probably un-reelectable and yet will stagger on for want of an alternative - is just the new normal of how Britain is governed. It was also true for two-thirds of May's premiership, half of Johnson's and all of Sunak's.

Inhalers used to treat asthma are very effective and literal life savers.. Paradoxically, they also increase the risk of chest infections simply by being effective at opening up the airways, you don't want them *too* open.. all kinds of riffraff in the air just waiting to sneak in.
Bloody cheek.

As recently as the summer of 2024 the Labour Party were flat-out denying that Peter Mandelson was even vaguely advising them and it was so obviously BOLLOCKS....but why were they denying it? Is it coz he's a catastrophically problematic, unpopular figure who was best pals with a famous pedo?
