It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

20 days into December the 1991-2020 average high is 8.8C and yet lowest max temperature so far at London Heathrow is 8.6C. Only 1 day on 4th has not seen double figures. Only December 2015 had so few - colder weather will arrive soon, but it has been abnormally mild.
