New — Video shared with me shows ICE officers in DC detaining a man on Friday.

Bystander filming asks man for his name. ICE agent lies and says he’s not allowed to speak to him “by law” and another says “We’ve arrested American citizens for being too close…If he gets any closer, put him in cuffs.”

I kept getting told I was going overboard, it was generational trauma running the show, etc. “Just chill and live,” coming from people with no plan on how to live if any one bad thing came to fruition, let alone all the bad things.

Mother reported him missing a week ago—turns out ICE had him detained the whole time.

He was helping sell fruit and asked to go to the restroom—by the time she was done helping a customer he was gone.

They don’t have enough, and they cannot deploy everyone they have, and they cannot move them all in place quickly enough, even if they had the numbers and could pull them from other duties.

It’s easier to put down a 10k person protest than 10 1k person protests - mass mobilization works.

It’s too late, takes five days from the bill being signed to turn the pay back on. Some banks (USAA) will put the money in before pay day, routinely get your mid month pay on like 11-13th so the checks have already been missed which is why this banner is the first thing that pops up in the USAA app
