Living in Minnesota right now feels like being in the emergency room. Literally everyone is suffering in different ways, even if it's "just" a badly twisted ankle rather than a kidney stone or a full-on heart attack. The staff are working as hard as they can but energy and resources are dwindling.

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

Ok, Jesse Ventura’s life story is like the real life Running Man, except he retires at the end to Baja California.
The Running Man (1987) has aged really well. The DOJ having an “entertainment division” is less far fetched by the day.

Did Delta Air Lines, the only carrier with nonstop flights between Minneapolis and San Antonio, fly Liam to Texas for ICE?

I’ve personally seen over a thousand shackled people board the dedicated ICE charter flights at MSP, but haven’t ever seen a child.
In an interview with MPR News, Liam's mother gave an update on her son and her own safety. She said Liam asks again and again, “Mommy, why don’t you pick us up?” Or “Mommy, we don’t want to be here anymore. This place is ugly.”
‘Mommy, why don’t you pick us up?’: Mother of Liam Conejo Ramos shares her story from hiding
Liam and his father are currently being held by federal authorities in the South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley, an hour plus drive southwest of San Antonio.

This is a time for solidarity between the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota.
ICE is quietly reshaping daily life in greater MN, too.

In Willmar, more than 1,200 of 4,000 students were absent recently -- both white and BIPOC, teacher Tammy Knapper says. ICE detained a 19-year-old student for five days. Trauma takes the place of learning. Something must change. #edmnvotes

Fox called them ‘wine moms.’ But for longtime volunteers, rides to school for frightened kids was a natural first step. Then came food, diapers, rent.

Minnesotans will just do this indefinitely. We have the numbers, we’re well-resourced, almost unbelievably well organized, and on home turf. We’ve got a stubborn reputation to protect. And few will admit it, but it’s even kind of darkly exciting.

There is absolutely no outlasting us on this.
