The funny thing about Trump's "I'm going to investigate the Dem connections to Epstein" is Dems aren't as nihilistic as MAGA. Bring it on. If a Dem was involved with Epstein, they deserve what they get. That's diff from Trump supporters,who are twisting themselves into pretzels trying to protect him

I think this is a point of view worth keeping in mind when thinking about Patton Oswalt's suspension
Just gotta say as a trans person who gets death threats couched as "jokes", I'm glad that the rules are being applied this way. When mods are left to make subjective decisions about who is joking and who isn't, threats against marginalized ppl go unmoderated and we are told they dont violate the TOS

I'm not convinced that "we need to collapse the value of everyone's housing" is the winning message he thinks it is

I want people to understand that in my youth, a youth that happened somewhere between the youth of Epstein, Trump, Maxwell, ex-Prince Andrew, et al & that of their victims, the term "jail bait" was framed as a compliment.

I'm not an expert on political strategy. But my main observation is Hakeem Jeffries has WAY to much belief in the importance of delivering his talking points. No matter what question he's asked. Also, the communications pro that convinced him to move his hands to match his delivery should be shot

On a related note, I left the last church I regularly attended b/c they voted to not allow AA & other groups to meet there because, as the asst pastor explained, they didn't want to be known as "the recovery church." Which seemed to me as if they really didn't understand the meaning of Christianity
