One thing I learned as a financial reporter is that leaks about corporate strategy are almost always more about changing the public narrative

Too Much TV: Who Is Going To Acquire Warner Bros. Discovery? Don't Expect Journalists To Have The Answer

Dear Substack, it’s awesome that you added this note for when a newsletter writer imported someone’s email address from another platform. This is clear and transparent. I wish every newsletter platform did this.

Temperatures topped 50 in the Twin Cities. The children played outdoors and praised the sunshine. “Spring is here!,” they screeched. “The snow is melting!” I did not have the heart to tell their innocent freshly freckled faces about fool’s spring and second winter.

Sigh. I respect anyone's choice on this. But I have my reasons. And it's also frustrating to me that larger publications get a pass on this. For instance, I am pretty sure The Ankler isn't getting many of these complaints

A lot of so-called "adult animation" ends up being a reason to show nipples and have the characters suck "Fuck" a lot.

But "Strip Law" is not one of those shows

"Strip Law" is a difficult show to explain. But all you need to know is that it is chaotically funny.

I highly recommend his mid-70s album "Chameleon," which has great covers of "Living For The City. "Jet" and "The Way We Were"

One of the big issues this week in my suburb is that there are a lot of rumors that a recently sold plot of land that used to be owned by Travel Tags is slated to become a data center. It was recently purchased by a holding company from Dubai & the current zoning would allow a data center.

If movie directors who crank out a couple of especially bad films get put into an unofficial movie jail for a few years as a learning lesson, why can't they do the same with showrunners? Ryan Murphy and Kurt Sutter might be tops on my list

Fetterman: "I met with Secretary Noem. I've always treated her with respect. I refuse and never will engage in the kinds of sexist terms like 'ICE Barbie' that the left media will use."
