I have two kitties. They produce plenty o’ poop every day in roughly 5 minutes. Far more efficient than shitting all over Twitter.

They sleep 16+ hours per day and spend at least 4 vying for space on my lap.

These utter ghouls seem to believe that their wealth will protect them no matter what. They haven’t stopped for a moment to contemplate how they or a loved one could get cancer or another condition that lacks effective treatments. But if that happens, all the money in the world won’t save them.

You laugh! But I actually got caught in quicksand in a bog in Scotland about 30 years ago. I was going down, and what did my friend do? She laughed! As if we were in a Warner Brothers cartoon!

Yesterday I was told that the class I’m scheduled to teach this month, Confronting Oppression & Injustice, is no longer part of our curriculum. This is a required class yet there was no discussion, no faculty vote, just an email saying the class no longer exists. This is what it’s like in Texas now.

I’ve got a felt grape suit in three different shades of purple that turns 40 years old this fall. I sewed it myself when I was in college. And though it’s a little mangy after all these years, it will serve very well indeed as my costume for No Kings!

Exactly. Everything the Trump administration is trying against so-called gang members, “illegals,” cartels, and supposed criminals will be unleashed against completely law-abiding, peaceful citizens who simply oppose his regime.

Trump and his goons publicize this to intimidate us. We must not bend.

My worry is that this description applies to somewhere between 35% and 45% of my fellow American citizens.

If it's an insurrection, and it's been going on for a long time, why hasn't the DOJ arrested or indicted anyone for insurrection, rebellion, sedition, or conspiracy to commit any of these crimes? If it's so obvious and so dangerous, why aren't the DOJ and the FBI doing anything?
