I would wonder if maybe your sense of cops is colored by propaganda and perhaps you don’t actually know what cops are, why they are there, and how they interact with community members.

It takes A LOT of strength to ask other people for help. I don’t know why people choose to spit in the eye of folks asking for help. No one is having a fun time telling other people they are in desperate need and constantly having to prove themselves.
