Oregonians: tag me in your photos of no kings rallies across our state today so I can show the country how Oregon shows up to say “hell no” to kings.
 the post showed up in my feed, probably because of recent events. Blame the algorithm.
Manchin was just always a conservative, and this was common knowledge.

Sinema was a lying snake who changed her "views" to suit her. She used to be a member of the green party, then contorted to Dem so she could get elected, then went right-of-center once elected to the senate for the $$$.
Fetterman isn't quite the right analogy. Fetterman had a proven track record in politics with regards to his views. He was fine at the time. Then a stroke fundementally changed who he was as a person. It shifted his brain chemistry over time, causing people around him to say he was unrecognizable.
See now this is a PERFECT way to protest. We must resist, but we must also deny them what they want (which is enough perceived violence to use as legal pretext for even more crackdown). The inflatable animals is ideal because they can't twist that footage to justify anything.

Years of normalisation of far-right politics as "legitimate grievances" in a top-down manner have led to this

The responsibility does not just lie with Reform but with all those mainstream elite actors who have indulged these reactionary, demophobic fantasies
👏 "We've lived here all our lives. And I have never felt so unwelcome in my own hometown as I do since your party came into Caerphilly."

"With all the rhetoric that you bring in, I have to say to my sons, please don't go there. Please don't do this."

"I blame you for that."
Bingo. None of that is worth throwing away over unrelated foreign policy.

Demanding better from federal Democrats over Gaza & AIPAC is justified. But the moment that talk gets thrown around in local races, then you're just spewing trash.
What are you talking about? They hold them all the damn time. Not their fault that you don't pay attention.
