Just watched Titanic. Well, the first half. I believe it was @bandherbooks.bsky.social who recommended turning it off after they have sex in the car, and then it's just a lovely little romance.
I keep thinking maybe I should try to reread The Grapes of Wrath, which I DETESTED in high school. (But I loved East of Eden in college.)

Some of the books I loved as a teen have really not held up, while others did and are clearly excellent.
But there were books I was also just not ready to read, and my opinions on them were a waste of space.

Fantasia is on TV this morning. I REALLY wish they could have continued to make Fantasia movies because they are such a great way to be exposed to classical/orchestral music. Fantasia 2000 was good too - though not as scary as the original. (A little scary is good!)
