I mean this sincerely: If the presence of the National Guard at Union Station is supposed to make it feel safer, they could patrol the dark parking lot at 10:30 at night instead of hanging out in front of the closed Starbucks or whatever.

Dad's recording an audiobook this week so largely saving his voice; I chose Modern Times to show the kids since dad's doing a bunch of silent goof bits to compensate, and it's going pretty well! Plus I get to talk to them about the evils of capitalism and the exploitation of workers! Win win!

Every day when I drive home I pass at least 4 but up to a full block’s worth of cars essentially parked in the bus / bike lane on Roscoe Blvd at peak rush hour in the line for drive through In N Out and I don’t know why we allow it. All for shitty undercooked fries.

“How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?" is a reaction image commonly used to respond to users pretending to be part of a community that they are clearly unfamiliar with. The image features the actor Steve Buscemi dressed youthfully and holding a skateboard, and is usually subtitled with the tagline. The image is often photoshopped to adapt to a particular subculture, and the phrase is often used in conversation without the image.
