Every day that I don’t get an out of the blue email from my mom apologizing for voting for Trump and admitting she was wrong about him is a day I come closer to cutting her off entirely. No I have not told her this.

Keep seeing that ICE must leave Minneapolis as if there's a place where it's ok for ICE to be? Like if they can't be in Minneapolis they can't exist. Ok to call for that. Please start calling for that?
What happened in Minneapolis today is an inexcusable tragedy. My heart is with the victim's family and loved ones.
One thing is clear: ICE is out of control. We have to listen to local leaders warning that ICE is putting communities in danger.

A witness says a woman was trying to drive away from an ICE operation and the ICE agent "reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times."

We watched Ghostbusters (2016) and while the youngest didn't cotton to it the way the eldest did, he's become obSESSED with the tie-in co-op board game we have for it. The rule is every time we bust a ghost you have to sing "BUSTIN MAKES ME FEEL GOOD". Pretty cute.

For some reason they are offering a bus stop blocks away for this week's LAUSD Winter Academy and we are loving it. A cute little morning walk to the bus. A glimpse into what could have been. Instead, we have to drive and be part of traffic every morning.
LAUSD provides a school bus for kids that live outside of a 1 mile radius of their school. But our assigned bus stop is over 1 mile away from our house. Make it make sense.

Updated my phone to the new iOS and now my DuckDuckGo browser has gotten wise to the fact that I use it to get around my Reddit and BlueSky screen time limits and while I’m livid this is probably a good development for my mental health
