Walmart is officially a trillion-dollar company.

Today the retail giant joined the ranks of Meta, Tesla, Amazon and more to pass a $1 trillion market cap.

Meanwhile, starting pay at Walmart is as low as $14/hour, and thousands of its workers have to rely on SNAP and Medicaid.

I can't overstate what it means for Puerto Ricans to see an album so rooted in our culture, our language, in salsa, plena, bomba, and reggaeton to be album of the year.

This album is unapologetically Boricua and it was the most streamed album last year and won album of the year. I'm in tears.

BREAKING: American history is being quietly edited in real time. Exhibits on enslaved people are being removed for being “unpatriotic.”

That’s erasure.

"Teens with the resources to attend ticketed events ... are exempt. But Black and brown youth gathering downtown or along the lakefront? They’ll be policed, profiled, and punished. This ordinance draws a bright line between who gets to enjoy public space and who gets criminalized for occupying it."
NEW — The “snap curfew” is “being sold as a way to ‘protect’ youth. But let’s be clear: this isn’t about safety.”

Together, an organizer and law professor write that the ordinance is about giving Chicago police unchecked power to disappear young people.

Because they are in “The Race “ to become the dominant platform in the world.
