During a brief pause in the action at #IPBES12 @phylojoe.bsky.social & I had the chance to welcome Ethiopia as @gbif.org's the newest participant! 🇪🇹 🎉

Tesfu Fekensa & his colleagues at #EBI are eager to get the national GBIF delegation and node that they host up and running #ForNature !

This email dates back to 2016, by which time Epstein was already a convicted pedophile.

Seemed to be no concern for the Trump boys.

What type of fun did they have?

This image…two close associates of Jeffrey Epstein—convicted sex criminal Donald J Trump and disgraced pedophile and former British ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson—enjoy a laugh together in the Oval Office in May 2025.

How can only one government will face consequences?

Whole lot of you following Neil Gaiman, and I assume it's because you forgot you did so and he stopped posting when it was revealed he is a rapist.

Since he's trying to make a return, do yourself a favour and check if you're following @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com and if so unfollow and block.

Even if you don't have time to read all 83 pages of Judge Reyes's opinion barring the Trump administration from rescinding Temporary Protected Status for 350,000+ Haitians, please at least check out the four-page introduction.

It's a tour de force:

Think about these very matters yesterday after landing in Manchester (aka Cottonopolis) and taking the train up through Leeds to York.

The North’s crumbling brick buildings are abandoned assets capitalized with stolen Indigenous lands and and extracted from African labor.

I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

The owner of the Grizzlies runs a company that sells equipment being used by the Russian army to kill people in Ukraine. Aren’t there sanctions against that? Yes and they’re easily skirted, aided by the company not worrying about it.

Great episode, gross owner. Drones. Killing.
Our latest deep dive with Hunterbrook Media (@truth.bsky.social) is about one of the five richest owners in sports: Robert Pera, of the Grizzlies and Ubiquiti.

An NBA owner said, "No one knows where their sales come from."

The answer involves Russia's drone war in Ukraine: youtu.be/s6i4uffZvhc?...
